Deep in the Ghost Zone, on one of the floating islands… a teenager boy ghost was sitting on his motorbike and thinking about something. He looked like a classic biker with blond hair and green eyes. He sighed but stayed quiet.

"No… no…" He said to no one. "Ahh… that couldn't work."

"Johnny." A ghost teenage girl around his age called him. She has green hair and red eyes. Her style seemed to be from the same age with the boy he called earlier.

"Ah, Kitten." The boy, Johnny snapped out from his mind.

"What are you doing out here?" Kitty asked, rather annoyed. "Don't tell me you've been thinking about another girl!" She asked.

"No, No!" Johnny replied, a bit panicked. "What made you think of that?"

"Then why are you so distant lately?"

"I… I am not." Johnny replied. Kitty gave him an 'oh-really' look. Johnny fell silent again. "L-look," Johnny said after that. "Kitty, I need to th- uh, go for something." Johnny said as he prepared to go.

Just as he was about to leave, he remembered about something and lit up his face. "That's right." He said to himself. "He might know something."

"What? Where are you going?" Kitty asked.

"Somewhere out there. For a fresh air!" Johnny rode his bike away and left Kitty.

"We are not breathing fresh air," Kitty pondered. There must be something he is hiding from her. Fresh air… that could only mean… the human world, Kitty thought. She narrowed her eyes and fixated on something.

Johnny was riding his motorbike, heading to the Ghost Portal. And then he whistled. A shadow came to him as he was being called.

"Shadow." He said. "We are going to the human world." Shadow listened to him, and followed his orders.

"We are going to find him."

Darry Phantom's Adventures

Episode 13 : Grow West, Young Ghost

Casper High. For some reasons, the students were waiting in front of the school. They were fixated on one direction, and the girls squirmed in happiness. "Oh my Gosh, Oh my Gosh!" They kept saying that. Mike was waiting with Anthony. And Violine was busy reading a book as she waited as well. Soon after, a motorbike appeared from afar and the girls started squealing for the one who rode the bike.

You guessed right, on the bike, there was no other than the half-ghost Phantom kid, Darrell "Darry" Fenton.

"Darry!" The girls screamed. Once he was arriving, he took off the helmet and caused the girls to screams more. He got off from the motorbike and walked to the waiting friends of his.

"So, how was my new bike?" Mike asked.

"Awesome! Let me ride on that again sometime." Darry handed the helmet to him. "Thanks, dude."

"I wonder why your parents didn't buy you one." Mike wondered. "They are rich enough to get you that."

The three then walked off from the school front as they continue the chit-chat. "Mom told me to save up money." Darry told him. "I prefer flying. If I ever have one, the motorbike probably only used very barely." Just like my hoverboard. Soon, they spotted Violine waiting at some other side.

"You're done with the bike?" Violine asked.

"Yup." Darry nodded. "See you guys later!" He waved to Mike and Anthony, and walked home with Violine, just like always. "So, how was I?" Darry opened up the conversation.

"That was cool, I'll admit. You learn pretty fast." Violine said, impressed. "I would be lying if I said I am not worried for a second, knowing how reckless you are. Also… it's your first time riding a motorbike."

"Well, accidents don't happen that easily." Darry said. "Besides, I got ghost powers with me just in case something happens."

"Yeah, right." Violine said. "Something might've happened to the other townspeople, though."

"Well, nothing happened, right?" Darry replied.

"I am glad." Violine said.

"So, today…" Darry was about to ask about homework, but then suddenly a loud crash was heard from the other side of the road. Some people came running to the spot. This caught the attention of the two. "What happened?"

Darry and Violine decided to take a look. Someone was falling from their motorbike. They were struggling to get up as people helped them.

"Are you okay?"

"I am fine… thanks." The one who fell replied. "Nothing harmful done."

Darry and Violine watched from the crowd, glad nothing bad happened to the rider. Just then, Darry's ghost sense went off. The two stared at the blue mist for a second before started to look around for the ghost.

Not far from where they were standing, Shadow was lurking around the traffic lamp and caused the electricity to malfunction. The traffic light zapped off, and caused the drivers protesting. They turned on the horns plenty times.

Darry and Violine caught the sight. The two looked at each other, wondering about what happened. That was off. The two have a ghost to catch, so the two went off to look for the ghost first. Violine turned the ghost tracker on her watch and the two chased after the unknown ghost.

Shadow turned at the corner of the road, passed by a granny who was holding a plate with a cat in her room. The plate fell and broke, causing the cat to shriek. Darry and Violine noticed this, and wondered.

"It's weird." Violine stated. "Some bad luck just suddenly happened around here."

"And it's on the way the ghost was headed to." Darry said. "Do you think…"

"Is it the ghosts' doing?" Vioine questioned.

"It could be." Darry agreed. The two continued their chase as they spotted another bad luck phenomenon.

"My mug… my beloved mug…" A man sobbed about their broken coffee mug. Darry and Violine watched by as they kept following the signal. And then they passed by another person.

"What happened to my clothes?" This time it was a woman whose clothes fell down to the puddle when she was drying them up.

"My burger! I haven't eaten that!" A man sadly said.

The last one was Joey chasing his rat. "Ratty! Nooo! Don't leave me!" And then he fell into a mud and got up again, continuing chasing his pet rat.

"Everything unless the last one," Darry said. "It was a very unusual thing."

"Everyone is getting bad lucks!" Violine said. Violine looke at her watch again, noticing two more dots in the tracker. "There are three of them now."

"Great." Darry said. Violine glared at him. "I mean, blast. Uh… I will take the one over there." He said as he pointed to the direction of one of the dots.

"That'll make me taking the other one." Violine said. "Contact me if something happens."

"Aye, Ma'am." Darry replied. Excitedly, he said his catchphrase. "Phantom Phase!" Two rings appeared and traveled through his body, changing his attire to this other ego, Darry Phantom.

Violine pressed the button on her watch, and her suit automatically covered her body and changed her to the huntress suit. She activated her jet below her boots and said one last confirmation of the plan. "Okay, so we both split ways, and contact each other if something happens."

"Right." Darry replied.

The two parted ways after that, looking for the ghosts.

Just as they parted, Shadow flew to another side, causing another bad luck. Darry saw him, and noticed the bad luck.

"Hey." He said to himself. "It's that ghost." Finally finding out the source of the bad lucks, he decided to follow the ghost.

At the shopping complex, Johnny 13 was walking around, looking at the shops. "No trace, no trace, no trace, no trace." He said. And then he found a jewelry shop, and decided to take a look at it.

"Welcome." The shopkeeper said. "May I help you, sir?"

"Uuuh…" Johnny tried to think, "I would like to look at the rings." He said. "Let me look at the rings."

"Here you are." The shopkeeper took out the rings. Johnny looked at all of them, trying to choose as he was lost in his mind.

"Planning for marriage, sir?" The shopkeeper asked.

"N-no! Not yet… maybe." Johnny replied, a bit flustered. "Look, I seriously don't know."

"I know the best one for girls." The shopkeeper said. "How old is she?"

"Uhm…" Johnny tried to think, counting for their actual age. "Like… 74? Or wait… is that 90?" He wondered that mostly to himself, and then he just finally state. "Just… around my age."

"Around 16 huh? She won't reject you if you follow my lead." The shopkeeper then showed him a jewel ring that shine brightly, and looked very beautiful. Johnny stared at the ring, and then think about it again.

"Uh… actually, I am still not sure. I think… uh…" Johnny replied. "I guess I will come again later. Thanks."

"It's okay. Come again once you made up your mind, young sir."

Johnny walked out from the door and sighed. "It was harder than I expected," He said. "Where is he when I need him?" He ranted to himself.

Above the sky, Shadow landed in front of Johnny and informed him something.

"So, did you find him?" Johnny asked. Shadow shook his head for a reply. Johnny sighed sadly. "I guess I didn't find him too."

Darry, who was following Shadow from earlier, looked around searching for him and noticed his ghost sense went off once again. He looked below and found Shadow, beside a suspiciously-looking-guy. "Hey!"

He flew down and readied for battle himself. "Gotcha! You are the source of the bad lucks happened around here! I will-"

Noticing the ghost boy, Johnny quickly reacted. "Hold on, kid! Don't fight people randomly on the road! You are picking the wrong fight!"

"That thing is a ghost!" Darry said. "It caused bad luck everywhere it went! I gonna-" He pulled out his thermos, prepared to open it. Seeing the thermos, Johnny panicked.

"Hold up! Hold up! Don't use that thing." Then he noticed something from the kid. "Wait… you look like someone…" Darry glared suspiciously at him, but confused at the same time. "Are you his kid?"

"He?" Darry asked back. "I am the son of D-"

"You are the son of Phantom! Isn't it?" Johnny guessed excitedly. "I've heard about you!"

"That's what I wanted to say-" Darry rolled his eyes. "Now let me catch that-"

"Hold on, where is your father?"

"Dad?" Darry asked back. "He is gone on a trip to the moon for months until this summer."

"Damn." Johnny cursed. That explained everything.

Darry raised an eyebrow, rather annoyed. "So, if you are done with questioning my dad, let me catch the ghost that caused misfortunes and-"

"Hold on, hold on." Johnny glared on him, trying to protect Shadow. "I am the owner of this ghost. We don't mean any harm to this town right now."

"But that ghost caused bad lucks!" Darry argued back. Then he realized something, "Wait, 'we'? Does that mean?"

"I am a ghost as well." Johnny stated. "In fact, I am just coming here for a stroll. Nothing else. Other than... searching for your father, that is."

"My father?" Darry asked back. "What do you want with my father?"

"It's nothing of your business! You're still a kid!"

"You are seeking some kind of revenge on him?"

"I am not!" Johnny protested. "Maybe I am. But, not right now." It's for a completely something else.

"How should I trust you? You wanted to harm my dad!"

"I told you we are not doing anything wrong!"

"He caused misfortunes on the town!"

"I apologize for that, okay?"

"Spill out what you want with my dad!"

"Look! I want to talk to him! It's not your business!"

Darry's ghost sense went off. Johnny noticed this, and Darry himself hasn't. Noticed that Darry inherited his father's ghost sense, Johnny quickly covered Darry's mouth before he replied with something else and turned them intangible. And Shadow quickly hid on the shadows nearby.

Across the road, there was Kitty. Walking to some direction as he frowned, looking for someone. Johnny quickly(and quietly) took Darry to a hidden place as Shadow followed them.

Once they're on the safe place, Johnny was still looking at the round to make sure Kitty was gone. Darry was struggling from Johnny's hands, and Shadow watched the ghost boy struggling. Johnny released his hands and Darry protested.

"Why di-"

"Ssshhh!" Johnny quickly told Darry to be quiet. Darry remembered the girl across the road, and then asked about her instead, now with calmer and quieter tone as he started to get the situation.

"Who is that girl?"

"Kitty." Johnny replied as he still looked out for her.

"Is that your girlfriend?"

"Uh-huh."

"Did you two get a fight or something?"

"No?"

"Then why are you hiding?"

"It's none of your business."

"So… you need to talk to my dad about this?"

Johnny ignored him and still watched out for Kitty.

"And you were walking around in the stores."

Johnny was still ignoring him.

"And I found you in front of the jewelry stone…" Darry stopped, realizing something. Johnny stopped his ignoring of the kid. He blushed and panicking, stopping Darry from saying anything else, much to his embarrassment.

"Don't say that!"

"Ooooh…" Darry smiled amusedly, finding out Johnny's true intention.

"Don't tell anyone about this!" Johnny said, embarrassed.

"I won't." Still with the amused smile.

Johnny noticed Kitty was still around and quickly told Darry and Shadow to hide. "Quick. Hide." They phased through the ground and moved from their hiding place, with Shadow following them from the upper ground.

"Johnny? Where's that Johnny?" Kitty's voice could be heard as she walked around the spot.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

The two phased out at some building top. Shadow appeared soon after. Johnny sighed in relief. "She won't find me in this place, I think." He said.

"Sooo…. You're gonna propose to her, aren't 'cha?" Darry brought up the topic from earlier.

"Don't. Tell. Anyone. About this." Johnny told him, blushing again. He put his hands on his face and then said, "Argh! I am so not ready for this."

"Well, maybe I can help or something?" Darry rolled his eyes, remembering how his uncle and aunt made up after his help. Well, things could've gone differently on this one, though.

"I don't trust children like you." Johnny said, as his eye peeked out from his fingers. "This is why I wanted to talk to your father."

"We are on the same age range!"

"Maybe." Johnny said. "But I am actually much older than how I looked."

"Wait." Darry tried to take a guess.

"I died in a motorbike accident decades ago. I am older than your dad."

"Woah." Darry then thought about it, "Wait. But you want to seek my father's help?"

"That's because he's married." Johnny said.

"Oh." That's the only thing Darry could state out.

"You see, us, ghosts- won't age at all unless we chose to." Johnny then explained. "We are stuck on the age where we tied to the most. And we don't grow unless we chose to continue further." He fell quiet. "That's why I never grow up."

Darry looked at Johnny silently. "That explains some ghosts like Youngblood and Technus…"

Johnny nodded. "Youngblood, especially." Johnny said. "He is stuck on his childhood age as he got strong connection to that phase, and couldn't let it go yet."

"So… what happened when a ghost let the phase go?" Darry asked, wondering about that.

"We pass on." Johnny said. "We will finally grow up and gain another look. And if they let go of their death completely, they will pass on to the next life." Johnny said. "It's kind of scary to think about that."

"Wait, so… you mean…" Darry started to catch up. "When a ghost tied to the world so much, they'll stuck in that phase and never grow up. But if they decided to let that phase go, they will grow up? And if they let the whole death go, they will pass to the next life?"

Johnny nodded. "Yup. Also, they'll stuck in another age if they don't want to let a certain phase go- again. People who died and never have strong connection to the world are automatically sent to the next life. Ghosts are consisted of people who still have strong connections to this world." Johnny formed a fist with his hand, "Like me."

Darry looked at Johnny with concern. Johnny continued to say, "All of these time I've been too scared to reach out to be an adult. But world is keep changing. I want to marry her, but I am scared of changes." Johnny looked down and then said, "I wonder if I will grow up if I chose to marry her." He paused for a bit. "Marrying other must be when you're ready. I am not ready to be an adult."

"So,… basically you're saying you're scared of growing up." Darry said, started to think about that as well. "I am not ready, either." He paused, looking up.

"But we must grow up." Johnny said. "We eventually have to." He paused. "If we, ghosts- don't move on… we'll just stuck in our own dilemma and problems. Forever." He told him.

Johnny sighed again, "I don't know if I can do marriage." And then Johnny said in a low tone, "Girls are hard to understand." Remembering all the fights he had with Kitty.

Darry chuckled a bit, "Vio is often mad at me for no reason too," And so, the two continued to talk with each other as their topic started to waver everywhere.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

Kitty was still searching for Johnny. She arrived on a mall, looking left and right and eyed every girl suspiciously. "Okay. Which girl is it this time?" She questioned. Some girls are walking by, giggling to each other while talking about something. Kitty walked into the mall and kept looking around.

"Nope." She said, looking at a couple who just passed by her. "Nope." She said again as another couple passed. "Nope." That was not her Johnny. "Just where the hell is he?" She raged out.

Just then, she overheard some girls talked to each other about something. The topic caught her attention so she continued listening.

"Did you see him? He looked so cool on that motorbike!" A girl said that to the other girl.

"Yes! He passed through! I could've sworn he looked at me for a second!" Her friend replied.

"In your dreams! He was looking at me!"

"No way! Me!" She replied back. "I was hoping I could get his number… but… he went away so fast."

"Actually we can just go visit him, but I don't think I can bring myself to talk to him!"

And then they were both squealed. Kitty, who was hearing those thought they were talking about her boyfriend. "What?" She narrowed her eyes. "So Johnny was… flirting."

"I really hoped I can be his girlfriend. That ghost boy doesn't have any yet, does he?"

"There is one girl who stayed at his side the most but I doubt she is his girlfriend."

"It's so dreamy… being protected by a man with ghost powers. I don't mind that rather long hair."

"What?" Kitty got really mad this time. "So, Johnny was around with other girl indeed, and flirted with many others!" She jumped to conclusion right away. A boy with motorbike, rather long hair, and ghost powers… It must be Johnny! Kitty floated in the air and approached the girls who were talking to each other.

"Tell me." She said. The two girls turned at her, confused. "Tell me where that boy is!" She then asked, more like yelled at the two girls. Her body was flaming in her blue ghost ray. She looked almost very creepy. The girls screamed when they see her eyes glowing by fully blue lights. The two girls screamed.

Everyone around who see that immediately screamed and ran away. The two girls ran away as well, but before long, Kitty stopped them with her powers and took them floating. "Where is he?" She asked again.

"I don't know! I really don't know!"

"We don't know where he is right now!"

"Who is the girl who is always with him?" She asked again. The two girls only screamed for the response.

Violine, who was still tracking the ghost with her watch, looked around the mall as the signal is getting closer. Soon, there were some screaming people running around and Vio realized that meant only one thing: the ghost is there.

"May I ask what is going on?" Violine asked one of the running people.

"A-a… a ghost!" The man said. "A teenager ghost girl! Attacking innocent highschoolers!"

"A teenager ghost girl?" Violine questioned. She heard more screamed coming from inside, she flew her jet there, meeting the raging Kitty. Violine gasped at the mess, shocked that Kitty almost deciding to choke the two girls out for their lives.

The two girls noticed Violine was coming, and then one of them said, "Th-that! That girl!" She tried to say. "That's the girl w-w-who is always… by his side!"

Kitty turned her gaze to Violine, and dropped the two girls. "What?" She asked. The two girls panicked and managed to get away.

"I never thought Darry has such a crazy fanatic." One of them whispered to the another as they leave the place.

"So you dared to show yourself against me!" Kitty screamed to Violine. "You are the girl who stole my boyfriend!

"Wait, what?" Violine asked back. "I never-"

Without hearing any other comments, Kitty attacked Violine by throwing ghost rays at her. Vionline was surprised by the sudden attacks. She failed to dodge but activated the shield in time. She was thrown back to the wall, and Kitty was slowly approaching her. This was bad, she thought. She was thinking about contacting Darry, but before she could take her phone out, Kitty was firing another ray, preventing her from doing so.

"Are you trying to call that boyfriend of yours? You are not going to do that!"

"Wh-what?" Violine asked again. "H-He is not my boyfriend!" She then blushed after that. "Wait, why everyone thinks I am his girlfriend-" She whispered to herself. "You misunderstood the situation!"

"Liar!" Kitty attacked her blindly once again, this time Violine managed to dodge that.

Falling on the floor and hid behind one of the fallen stuffs, Violine used that chance to took her phone out. "Gotta call Darry." Violine said as she dialed her best friend.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

Johnny and Darry were laughing on the rooftop. "Haha! Man, that was awesome!"

"And then those three got tricked by their own tricks. Man, girls are confusing creatures."

"They sure are." Johnny said. "Those three you mentioned are just the weirdest ones. Do they like you or something?"

"Ew, no!"

"You know what?" Johnny then asked him. "To know that I ended up enjoying the company of Phantom's kid rather than Phantom himself." He said again. "But I have to admit though." Johnny then said, "You are pretty lame compared to your father."

"Hey!" Darry protested. Johnny then laughed. He then mussed Darry's hair, much to Darry's dismay.

"I wondered how it was to have a kid. I wondered if it's like this." Johnny then looked away, imagining about his future. The two then stayed silent for a while, until Darry's phone rang.

"He's gonna catch 'em all 'cus he's Danny Phantom, gonna catch 'em all 'cus he's Danny Phantom, gonna catch 'em-"

"Oh, sorry." Darry said, picking his phone up. "That's my phone." He accepted the phone call and then say, "Hello,"

"Darry!" Violine said from the other end of the phone. "Did you catch the other ghosts yet? I need your help!" She said, and then she had to dodge another attack.

On Darry's side, the phone call didn't sound as clear, so he couldn't hear her and asked her instead. "Hello? Vio? I can't hear you. Where are you?"

Violine noticed the joyful tone, and then shot back. "Where ARE you?!"

"Is that your childhood friend?" Johnny then asked.

"Yeah she is." Darry replied back.

Violine then noticed this. "Who are you with?"

"With Johnny 13, he is one cool man. You know, he is been around since my dad's-"

"Do you even remember what we were doing in first place?" Violine then asked him, trying to not be mad.

"Um… walking home and then suddenly there was an accident-"

"We were searching for the ghosts and now you are hanging out with someone else! I am fighting one of the ghost and she is snapping for calling me your girlfriend!"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait… what?" Darry asked, then suddenly remembered what he was supposed to do. "Wait! Where are you now?" He then asked her again.

Violine sighed. "Amity Park Mall. Come over here, quick."

Kitty then noticed Violine was telling Darry to come over, and yelled at her again. "You are telling him to come now, aren't you? Fine! Tell him! Tell your boyfriend to come over! I will kill him right here with you!"

Darry had to distant his phone from his ear because he even could hear Kitty's shouts from there. Johnny noticed the voice from the phone.

"That voice… Kitty?" Johnny questioned.

"I told you he is not my boyfriend!" Vio yelled back. "Or your boyfriend! I am not calling your boyfriend!" Once she was done with her yelling, she turned to the phone. "I will hang up now. Get your sorry ghostly tail over here now!" Violine said that and then she hung up.

"Okay, Amity Park Mall, huh?" Darry then stood up. "That sounded like a very bad havoc over there-"

"I am coming. That's Kitty over there. She must've misunderstood the situation here." Johnny said, as he got up as well. Shadow got up, nodding as well.

"Alright, let's fly over there now, fast!"

"Hold up," Johnny stopped Darry before he took off. "We can get there faster,"

Darry stared at him.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

Johnny rode his motorbike towards the mall of Amity Park, Darry was seated on the back and Shadow was following them through the shadows.

"Woooooo!" Darry shouted. "Nothing beats riding a ghostly classic motorbike of the '70s!"

"Actually it's the '50s" Johnny corrected, "Hang on tight. I am going to boost this baby faster."

"Woooooooooo!"

The two rode off to the mall in high speed, doesn't worry about the road because of their intangibility.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

"Where is he now?" Kitty then asked. "Where is he?"

"He is coming, he is coming, alright?" Violine. "Just asking this, though. What do you want with D-"

"He is MY boyfriend, you moron!"

"Shouting moron to someone else is making you actually stupider than the person you are shouting to," Violine stated deadpanned. She hoped this problem could be cleared the second Darry got there.

"What did you say? You boyfriend-stealer!" Kitty picked up a vase with her powers and threw it to Violine. Violine dodged the vase and then replied, "You are crazy!"

"You ARE crazy!"

"You might be misunderstood something!" Violine told her. "You might be mistaken the wrong person!"

"You are the one who did the mistake!"

"This won't end anytime fast, would it?" Violine sighed.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

Johnny, Darry, and Shadow arrived on the mall's down floor.

"We arrived!" Darry said. "And without a scratch!" Just when he said that, the glass around the room shattered. He then looked at Shadow and commented, "You need to work that bad luck thing out."

Shadow shrugged for the response.

They then heard the noise coming from the other side.

"Hurry, we have to stop her!" Darry said, as he rushed before Johnny and Shadow.

DPA DPA DPA DPA DPA

Violine dodged yet another attack, but she slipped and fell down on the floor. Kitty used this opening to attack her. She charged up her ghost ray and then raised her hand. "Say goodbye to my dear Johnny, sweetie."

"Vio!" Darry arrived just in time, caught her and got her out of the way of Kitty's blast.

Shocked, Kitty asked, "Who? Who is that? You got in the way!"

Darry and Violine got up, and then Violine shot back. "That's my best friend! The one I just called earlier! See? That's not your so-called-boyfriend or something! I've told you to listen to me first!"

"Boyfriend?" Darry asked. "She thought I am your boyfriend?"

"That's not the one I was searching for…" Kitty then said, a bit calmed down towards Violine. "But, wait… he does remind me of someone…"

"Kitty!" Johnny then arrived on the scene. "What are you doing here?"

"Johnny!" Kitty turned to see Johnny, only to then charging her powers again. "What ARE you doing here?"

"Kitten, I am sorry!" Johnny then said. "I left without telling you anything, but I am not going out or flirting with other girls, I swear!"

"That's what you always said!" Kitty said. "I overheard some girls talking about a boy with ghost powers, kind-of-long hair, riding a motorbike, passing by them and flirted at them today!"

"Wait," Darry then said. "That would be me." He remembered the event that day, "I rode Mike's motorbike today for a lap." Then he thought about that, "But I did not flirting with any girls, I think?"

Violine rolled her eyes, knowing her best friend's typical fangirls who thought they were flirted even though Darry was only passing. She then step forward and said to Kitty, "Look. There. No one is stealing your boyfriend here!"

"But… why you wouldn't tell me anything?" Kitty asked.

"I…I…" Johnny gulped. Darry gave him a sign to just tell her about the marriage. Johnny noticed that, and he tried to say that. "I… uh," In the end he couldn't say that.

"I was looking for Phantom for some advice for a good present for you," Johnny then said.

"What?" Kitty's rage calmed down.

"I haven't got a good one right now, but hey… I wanted it to be a surprise." Johnny said, "So…"

"So you didn't tell me anything." Kitty realized. "But you could be lying about it."

"Do I look like lying to you?" Johnny asked. The two stared in silent for a moment. Kitty stared at Johnny for a while. At first she wanted to yell at him again, but then she looked at Johnny's face again and believed him.

"I believed you." She then said. "Oh, Johnny… I am sorry."

"It's okay, Kitten." Johnny replied. "I am sorry to not getting a perfect present for you yet."

"It's okay, being with you is the only present I need." Kitty said. After that, she leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Johnny kissed her back. It was like time has stopped.

"Ew," Darry commented. "Gross."

Violine just winced. "Don't do it in front of others,"

The two broke apart and then talked to each other again.

"So, what did Phantom said?"

"Phantom? I didn't meet him." Johnny said. "But I met his kid instead." He looked at Darry. Upon being mentioned, Darry paid attention.

"Oh, so that's his son… no wonder he looks as dumb as his father." Darry frowned on that comment. Violine just looked at him.

"Haha, easy there." Johnny said, ruffling Darry's hair. "I guess we better go, now. Sorry for the trouble."

"So… when do you think you're gonna tell her?" Darry asked him.

Johnny said in a low tone, to make sure Kitty doesn't hear what they talked about. "I'll eventually marry her… but now is not the time." He looked at Kitty again, and then smiled. "Growing up is not something you can force upon yourself,"

"It's a choice." Darry finished.

"Growing old is," Violine added, knowing that quote.

"Yeah." Johnny said. "Unless you are a ghost." Johnny grinned. He then returned to Kitty's side. "We're going back to the Ghost Zone now." Johnny waved to the two. "See ya, Phantom Jr." He winked.

Once the two were gone, Violine asked to Darry.

"So… any explanation about coming up late?" Violine asked flatly. "Where were you two hanging out while I was busy with that?"

"Um… so, I was chasing that bad luck ghost, and then…" Darry recalled the events.

"So, did you manage to catch that ghost in the end?"

"Nope, but everything is under control right now." Darry said calmly. Just then, they heard a sound of breaking glass and a cat coming from outside. And traffic jam was seemed to be happened.

"Shadow! We promised to not make any havoc in human world!" Johnny's voice could be heard.
